It’s official the wait to return to Nevermore won’t be long. Netflix has confirmed that the second half of Wednesday’s sophomore season drops Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025 at 12 a.m. PT (3 a.m. ET). That’s four new episodes to close out what’s already been a darker, more horror-leaning chapter for Tim Burton’s hit series.
When Will Wednesday Season 2, Part 2 Premiere?

The first half of the season premiered just last week after a three-year gap, reuniting fans with Jenna Ortega’s deadpan heroine and setting up new rivalries, mysteries, and twisted family drama. And with only a few weeks until Part 2, the hype is real and, yes, I’m snapping my fingers too.
Co-creators Miles Millar and Alfred Gough told Entertainment Weekly this season “definitely has some moments which are more straightforward horror,” pushing Wednesday deeper into gothic territory. The first four episodes leaned into eerie atmospheres and sharper tension and Part 2 is expected to escalate both the stakes and the scares.

Gaga’s Enigmatic Arrival

Lady Gaga’s casting as Rosaline Rotwood has been one of the most buzzed-about reveals. Her Tudum fan event performance this year was pure spectacle and whispers suggest her track Dead Dance could drop alongside her episodes. Netflix hasn’t confirmed, but if true, it’s a clever blend of pop culture and plot intrigue.
Season 1 proved Wednesday could reinvent the Addams Family for a modern audience. Season 2, especially its back half, is about doubling down more horror, more high-stakes school politics, and more tangled relationships. By splitting the season, Netflix has kept momentum high, and the Sept. 3 drop feels perfectly timed to keep fans engaged into fall.
