Henry Ashton, fresh from his appearance in Netflix’s “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder,” will take on the role of Daeron Targaryen. “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” is based on George R.R. Martin’s beloved Tales of Dunk and Egg novellas. Set roughly 100 years before the events of Martin’s Song of Ice and Fire novels, the series promises to offer a fresh perspective on the rich history of Westeros.

At the heart of the story are Ser Duncan the Tall, played by Peter Claffey, and his squire Egg, portrayed by Dexter Sol Ansell. Egg, whose true identity remains a secret, is actually a member of the Targaryen family. This dynamic duo’s adventures will form the core of the series, offering viewers a glimpse into a different era of the Seven Kingdoms.
