In an interview with Deadline, Hoffman teased that the mafia storyline will pull “straight from the headlines,” exploring the “balance of power in New York” and the clash between the “old mob” and the “new mob.”
That means our lovable sleuths won’t just be tracking down a single killer they’ll be stepping into the crosshairs of an entire criminal network. Compared to past culprits like Jan Bellows or Poppy White, the mafia’s reach and resources make this their most dangerous investigation yet.
