“Basically everything is canon except the [Justice League] and a couple other things, but nothing can be considered pure DCU canon until Creature Commandos.”
This clarification comes after Gunn previously stated in March that Season 1 of Peacemaker wasn’t part of the DCU canon but later added that most of it aligns with the new continuity.
Gunn revealed that Peacemaker Season 2, slated to air in August 2025, will address these canon discrepancies. He teased that the new season will continue from Season 1 but include minor adjustments to align with the revamped DCU. Additionally, Gunn mentioned:
