When Is Wednesday Season 2 Releasing on Netflix?

Wednesday Season 2 will premiere in two parts. Part 1 debuts on August 6, 2025, followed by Part 2 on September 3, 2025, exclusively on Netflix. This split-season approach marks a change from the binge-drop model of Season 1, offering viewers a staggered experience of the unfolding mystery.
Filming for the second season faced delays due to the 2023 writers’ and actors’ strikes, but production resumed once negotiations concluded. Despite the gap, Netflix has managed to maintain the show’s eerie aesthetic and high production standards.

What Plot Twists Can We Expect in Wednesday Season 2?

The upcoming season delves deeper into Wednesday Addams’s psychic abilities and her increasingly strained relationships—with friends, family, and even herself. Creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar confirm that this chapter brings more emotional complexity and family tension to the forefront.
Notably, Pugsley Addams joins Nevermore Academy and begins developing electrokinesis, giving Wednesday a sibling sidekick on campus. Her interactions with her parents, especially Morticia, also become more strained, despite their physical proximity at school.
There’s also a leadership shake-up at Nevermore. Following the death of Principal Larissa Weems (played by Gwendoline Christie in Season 1), Principal Barry Dort assumes control. Dort’s agenda promotes “outcast pride” over integration, bringing an ideological clash to the student body.
