According to The Futon Critic, the spinoff title is a callback to the final season of The Big Bang Theory, where adult Sheldon revealed that his brother had been married twice and divorced. It also hints at the challenges the titular couple might face in their married life as they navigate parenthood and adulthood.
The spinoff is being created and executive produced by Chuck Lorre, Steven Molaro, and Steve Holland, the creative team behind The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon. Production on the new series is expected to begin in July, with Jordan and Osment as the only confirmed cast members so far.
