Exploring the Lands of Mount Yōtei
Ghost of Yōtei transports players to 1603, more than three centuries after the events of Ghost of Tsushima. The game is set in the lands surrounding Mount Yōtei, located in Ezo (present-day Hokkaido). This region, outside the rule of Japan at the time, offers a diverse landscape of sprawling grasslands, snowy tundras, and unexpected dangers.
As revealed by Sucker Punch, “It’s a far cry from the organized samurai clans who lived in Tsushima, and it’s the setting for an original story we can’t wait to tell.” This new setting provides a fresh backdrop for Atsu’s journey and introduces players to a different aspect of feudal Japan.
