Marvel’s ‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’ Promises Classic Spidey Adventures
After exploring new cinematic interpretations of Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Marvel Studios is gearing up to deliver a more traditional take on the beloved web-slinger with the upcoming animated series ‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.’
As per Comicbook.com, according to Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios’ Head of Animation and Streaming, ‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’ is set to strip the character back to his basics, focusing on a broke Peter Parker trying to balance his life as a high school student with his responsibilities as a superhero.
“It’s Peter Parker back in high school just trying to make it work, take care of his aunt, completely broke, and having to be a superhero,” Winderbaum said. “It’s so essentially Spider-Man.”
