According to Variety, Mickey 17 will open in South Korean theaters on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, three days ahead of its global release on January 31. The early release in Korea is a nod to Bong Joon-ho’s South Korean roots and a way to premiere the film in the director’s home country first.

Motion Picture Group. “All of us here at Warner Bros. are very excited to share ‘Mickey 17’ with audiences in Korea and beyond.”
