Fans of the iconic Spider-Man franchise have reason to rejoice as hints of a potential revival of Spider-Man 4 have emerged, courtesy of none other than Thomas Haden Church.

In a recent interview with ComicBook.com, Thomas Haden Church, who portrayed the villainous Sandman in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3, added fuel to the rumors of a fourth installment. Church revealed that he has heard rumblings about being asked to reprise his role, stating,

“Sandman… there’s been some rumors that they might ask me to do another Spider-Man, and I’d do it tomorrow.”

Expressing his enthusiasm for the potential project, Church recalled having the option to return for the previously planned Spider-Man 4 before it was shelved.

“They had an option for me to do Spider-Man 4 when there was going to be a Spider-Man 4. They had an option for me to come back. So, if it happens, that would be fantastic,” he shared.
